Cyber Chess

CyberChess is now a full, rule-compliant online chess experience wrapped in a neon-cyberpunk shell:

• Three Modes

  • Player vs Player: Two humans take turns—no move hints, you must know the rules.

  • Player vs AI (Easy): White vs a “random‐move” AI. When you select a piece, all legal destinations glow in neon yellow.

  • Player vs AI (Hard): White vs a depth-3 minimax+αβ AI—no hints; you must plan every move.

• Full Chess Rules

  • Legal Moves Only: You cannot move into check; illegal moves are automatically rejected.

  • Check & Checkmate: The game detects when your king is under attack. If you have no legal moves while in check, it declares checkmate.

  • Stalemate: If you’re not in check but have no legal moves, it declares a stalemate

• Controls

  1. Main Menu: Pick PvP, Easy AI, or Hard AI.

  2. In-Game:

     • Click a piece to select it. (Easy mode also shows highlights.)

     • Click a destination to move—captures occur automatically.

     • Use Restart to reset the board or Back to Menu to choose another mode.
